EVOLUTION TITANIUM EXHAUST SYSTEM - $1,239.99
The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution Exhaust System is designed for those who want the premium performance exhaust system for their Superduke. The system delivers more power to the back wheel and saves weight for improved handling. The new design of the mufflers for the Akrapovic Racing and Evolution Systems fit exceptionally well with the aggressive Supermoto look. The exhaust is configured as a 2-1-2 system, with two conical header tubes leading into a Y-collector, then into a cylindrical Y-link pipe and finally onto the two mufflers. The Racing system uses high-quality stainless steel, while the Evolution uses a special type of titanium. The performance characteristics of the two systems are identical. The individual components are connected with sleeve joints secured with silicon-shielded springs. The new-design Akrapovic mufflers, are attached to the frame using Akrapovic carbon-fiber clamps. The muffler’s outer sleeves are titanium, as are the perforated inner tube, inlet cap and outlet tube. The outlet tube is formed using the hydroforming process accurate to the last millimeter and the outlet cap is made of carbon. The result is an impressive 9 kg less weight and significantly more performance.
